Check Points: references to place and the spaces in between.

I spent six months drawing around three city laneway artist studio locations. Hundreds of drawings were made with lines and colours taken from the locations. The works portray states of deep investigative reflection where the consciousness and labour create new pathways through the likeness of a desk. A desk that became a portal of transcendence, reformation and gratitude to share. A reminder that routine frees up the active mind, so it can wander and disappear.
