Endless Drawing was an encounter of works made while surrounded by nature, then reworked through improvisation onto various surfaces in a gallery space.  The meaning of this exhibition was not directed solely toward understanding each individual work after creating them, but toward the creation of constellations- groups of works and ideas that connect in different ways, and later, in my organic memory.

Endless Drawing is a research project enacted upon at the arrival of artificial intelligence.

With the understanding that we are components of a vast system of sentience, Endless Drawing approaches a belief that spirits inhabit or dwell in some or all levels of natural objects, locations and phenomena. Including the human.

The exhibition included a new publication Daily Reader, a notebook of sorts, designed to fit into a pocket and enable resistance to technologies ever present answers on existence and encourage an unknown note or image in response to the question at hand.

"The real function of art is to change mental patterns...making new thought possible".

J. Dubuffet

I acknowledge the Wurundjeri as the true custodians of the Eastern Kulin nation where I live and work. I stand with Indigenous struggles and think that animistic belief systems would reflect the reality of the world more accurately and fairly than recent intellectual inventions in the dominant belief systems in place today.
